About Club 90

The 90’s saw the advent of two new giant forces in music: hip-hop and alternative rock. Club 90 performs both these genres with incredible finesse and style.

Dooney-JonesDooney Jones, Bandleader, Vocals

Dooney hails from Oakland, California and got into singing at a young age after hearing a Jackson Five record. His favorite music in the band is all the great hip hop Club 90 is performing.

Danielle PollardDanielle Pollard, Vocals

Born in San Francisco, California, Danielle sang Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All” in a talent competition at age three. She really digs the R & B portion of the show, especially songs by En Vogue and Poison.

Acacia-QuienAcacia Quien, Vocals

Acacia is an East Bay girl from Albany, California. She started playing piano at age six but quickly took to singing as her true love. Her Club 90 favorites include Whitney and Salt ’N’ Pepa.

Allen-LeongAllen Leong, Keyboards

Originally from Honolulu, Allen arrived on the San Francisco music scene in 1994. He has been playing keys since the fourth grade and is currently enjoying the George Michael songs in the band due to the grooving keyboard parts.

Mitchell-WilcoxMitchell Wilcox, Drums

From the small city of Aiea in central O’ahu, Mitchell took up the drums at age eleven and has not stopped playing since. He is totally digging the grunge selections of Club 90, Nirvana in particular.

Scott-ThompsonScott Thompson, Bass

Scott grew up in Concord, California in an incredibly musically talented family. Although it was drums at age three, it was the bass at thirteen “as soon as I got big enough!” He is a master of all styles, Brazilian in particular. His favorite Club 90 song is Baby Got Back.

Alex-DotyAlex Doty, Guitar

Another Bay Area native, Alex was born in Richmond, California. Although he started on sax, he quickly took to the guitar at age 12. With his rock roots it is no surprise his Club 90 favorites are Nirvana and Van Halen.
